Welcome to Collateral Protection Program, or CPC!
CPC is a coverage plan that is offered to customers who do not have their own full coverage insurance. The plan protects your vehicle in the event of an accident or theft.
The CPC program covers your vehicle only. By law, you are required to provide your own no-fault insurance.
Yes, there is a $500 deductible and it cannot be waived.
Yes. To protect your credit, you must continue to make on time payments while your claim is being processed or your vehicle is being repaired.
Once you provide us with proof of an active insurance policy, including comprehensive and collision coverage and American Lending Finance is listed as the lien holder on the policy, CPC will be removed from your vehicle.
The type of claim will determine the length of the time required to process your claim. For vehicles that are deemed repairable, it can take anywhere between 4-6 weeks to repair your vehicle.
CPC has authorized repair facilities. Should you need to get your vehicle fixed after an event of an accident, please contact your finance company immediately – a representative will direct you to the correct repair facility for your vehicle.
No. You cannot use CPC to get your vehicle registered with the state. It simply covers your vehicle in the event of an accident or theft.
Unfortunately, rentals are not provided while your vehicle is being repaired.
